Stopped by Bardstown Distillery. This is per ounce. It doesn't have the Pappy Family Reserve listed on here. It's the bottle with the wax top. $3800 an ounce. and no, I did not have any from the library. I went with EH Taylor Small batch...$15 for 2 ounces.
Bardstown produces this..not sure if you can find it outside the distillery
I picked up these 2
Not my bottle in below pic, but it's the same thing as what I got

@JohnfromKentucky - Decent price point for the EH Taylor. I first had the BBC bourbon Fusion #6 last winter. They have moved on to Fusion # 7 which I find superior to the 6 and at the same price point-mid $50 for a 750 ml bottle. FWIW-Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

For whatever reason, haven’t snagged Calumet much. Very enjoyable juice.

Glad you all enjoy the Calumet Farms offerings as Citation (from the farm) was a Triple Crown winner in 1948 (did not catch it live...). Last one til Big Red in 1973. But I will get back on the rails here-
For the price point $110-130 depending on 14, 15 or 16 yo I would go elsewhere. I have had a few samplings of those and went in with the expectation of buying but not at those $$.
However, as is always the case with anything cooked, sampled or offered in the various threads, if you like it, have at it. FWIW-Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. -
I enjoy trying new bottles and haven’t gone through the Calumet vertical. Think I paid around 50 for this. Very cool story, though. I’m still fairly green on the bourbon side and not sure what I would spend $100+ on. Hard to know what’s worth it and what’s hype.

@lousubcap, one local watering hole made the list. They seemingly do every year. Social is the name of it, way down at the bottom this year

I have been to a couple of the Houston ones but the one I like the best in the South listing is Valkyrie in Tulsa. Maybe b/c it's stumbling distance from my hotel but it is a great spot. Spent much time in that place over the years.LBGE, 28” BS, Weber Kettle, HCI 7.8 SE Texas -

Dropped in to the annual German-American German Club Oktoberfest. 22 beers from Germany on tap. In my youth is woulda been dangerous, now just a few great beers.

What's also nice is that a local place has bourbon by the shot. And some VERY hard to get bourbons. At MSRP. -
