Bourbon boys: getting more versed in what's out there in my area as well as pricing discrepancies. For the most part, not seeing anything out of the ordinary...just can't find anything "rare."
In trial by drinking, Elijah Craig Small Batch is quickly becoming my go to. Anything comparable? Also, is ECBS worth the splurge? I imagine it is.
-
Also, how is Mitchter's as a whole?
-
I recently discovered ECBP and have been fortunate to grab the last three offerings. Yes it’s worth it. With that said I probably wouldn’t spend more than $80-85 for it. If you can get the Larceny BP I would say it’s worth a grab too.Large and Small BGECentral, IL

2 of the 3 of these I rarely see on the shelves anymore. Specially not at the same time at the same store. Grabbed Four Roses bc you can’t ever go wrong with a bottle of that IMO.

Four Roses Small Batch Select is a great pour. Their pricing pushes the value ($50-55) but it is readily available. Eagle Rare (when found) is a great buy at around $40. Enjoy the experimenting.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

Like the wheated mash bills over the ryes.
Buffalo Trace, and Weller Special Reserve are favorites. But Weller is not that available in IN. -
Margarita!

Not enough restaurants serve margaritas or beer in frosty schooners anymore. I miss them.Love you bro! -

My dad didn’t drink much but he always had a beer schooner ready in the freezer, that’s the only way he would drink beer and always with a pinch of salt.____________________Entrepreneurs are simply those who understand that there is little difference between obstacle and opportunity and are able to turn both to their advantage. •Niccolo Machiavelli -
I'm no culinary expert ... but why are people pinching their salt and writing about it so openly?

A very interesting Canadian wine, this is partially aged in maple wood barrels. Great name too.-----------------------------------------------------------------------
