Almost took a trip to Asheville this fall, but instead went to Hawaii. Your pictures have me questioning my decision. @Great_EGGspectations it’s a beer lovers town. I was only there for half a day and would have loved to hit up a few more breweries. I’m sure Hawaii was a great choice!

@northGAcock that it is! This was an extra bottle (un-opened) I found in the liquor cabinet from last year. I was a little hesitant but from what I’ve read online it’s good for 12-18 months. Made it through unscathed with the aged eggnog, and will be purchasing a few more before this holiday season is over. Cheers!

It really is a beer lovers town. I am fortunate enough to be able to drive over in about an hour and a half, so I hit it up a few times a year. Since the wife doesn’t appreciate good beer, her and her sister drop me and my brother in-law off at the Foggy Mountain and pick us up at Burial 6-8 hours later. They shop and we drink our way off the hill.
Absolutely a great brew town. Even better later in the year when you can get more Stouts and Porters. Love them thick and chewy.Morristown TN, LBGE and Mini-Max. -

You really need to make a weekend of it on your next trip. I am not a huge fan of their beers, but Sierra Nevada brewery is a must see. They have spent untold millions on the place. Highland Brewery is a drive from downtown as well. I haven't made it to New Belgium, but will hopefully get there next spring. There are just so many good breweries downtown, its hard to venture out.
LAB has some killer beer pretzels and Foggy Mountain makes some killer wings. The Lobster Trap is a good way to finish off the day. Just a great weekend get away.

This is nice. Wild yeast and apple juice. A bit like a hefe weizen but will an appley taste as well. 9% though ......
