foghorn. you are right, this thread will never die. gun bun is one of my favorite reds from sonoma/napa. very affordable and drinkable right away. who wants to wait 3-8 years to drink a bottle of red, when you can have it tonight.LBGE, Marietta, GA

A thread right up my alley! Agreed on the red vino...if it isn't good enough to enjoy young, I won't buy it in the first place. My favorite wines, I buy enough to lay a few down and to drink now too! This thread coerced me into opening a bottle of Storybook Mountain Vineyards, Eastern Exposures. A nice cuvee', bold and dark berried, a zinfandel statement and house favorite. So here is to all you eggers out there! Just think, if it is good now, and has the legs for it, it will be a great wine years from now! I just upped my bottles annually from them so I can enjoy more now and still keep them for tomorrow. Some of these meals on the egg are going to really pair well with it...

@tulocay, where do you get your Gun Bun? In a local store - or direct from the vineyard?

Big O6 matchup tomorrow night. I'm relatively certain you'll be watching. -
Foghorn, I am lucky to find it in better wine stores. Otherwise, it is from the vineyard. It is worth the journey.LBGE, Marietta, GA

@tulocay, thanks. I haven't had a chance to really look for it around here, but I'm going Sonoma in a couple of weeks so I'll likely pick some up there.

Cold Coke Zero. Snap the top. Small cloud of water vapor wisps out. Pour some coke on the ground for my hommies. Fist pump the air. Displace ritually sacrificed liquid with pour from handle of Evan Williams black label. Apply koozie. Swirl. Drink. This is all in the can. I don't need no stinkin' ice or glass.
