Considering how long I have been buying 'Lump' ... even before I have owned a BGE .... I have known about The Naked Whiz Reviews.I would assume the Whiz would get great interactions from the company owners a high majority of the time.Mass hysteria ... yes, but maybe the folks see the owners response in question as a response to the average Joe.I do not see anything wrong with the folks who voice their positive interactions. They all have two sides to the transaction/story.

Well, I may as well jump in since everyone else seems to be. I have worked in the sales world for over 25 years. You absolutely cannot respond to a customer, or potential customer that way. I have never used WG charcoal and after reading that email, I have no interest in buying. There are many charcoal companies out there and if a company doesn't care if someone will buy their charcoal, then they don't need my business. And I personally have no issue in Caliking posting this. It was the result of a public post on a public forum and is a product that many people on here use and talk about often. His original comment was his opinion and in this day and age of social networking and immediate responses online, you just can't respond in that way. I'm sure she regrets it but I don't really care. Slowpoke creek, you are missin the point. The Wiz needed to have been impartial. So whats he geeting from WGWW for standin up for them? Now, don't get it in a wad. I have not used anything but WGWW. I buy so much that the local ace knows my first name. I am just appalled that an OWNER would write that.I am done with this crap. Its not my mission to belittle them. I will NOT buy. Enough said.

No wad here Aviator ... re read my post. I don't think the Whiz is getting anything for standing up for them. I just think a company owner (WG) would treat the Whiz a lot better than an average Joe. So by the Whiz saying he has great treatment from them doesn't mean that much to me. If I was a known restaurant reviewer, and started to talk with a restaurant owner, I bet I'd get treated better than the average guy. That's all I'm saying.

Thanks for the post. Was a big WG fan but this turns me off a bit. Have been pretty happy with my new bag of RO (just wish I could find it somewhere other than Wally World) so I think that will be my new brand.

Every time I re-read Lee's email to Caliking I cringe and am deeply embarrassed for her. She may be the nicest person in the world 99% of the time, but she screwed the pooch with her email. Absolutely as piss poor as it gets from a corporate communications standpoint.
