Is this a one on one thing or a group?  To even up plating, official entries could be photographed on white paper plates.  Lastly, to keep the usual suspects from winning everything all the time, maybe divisions could be made.  Folks that post stuff that looks like a magazine spread should be in the "Magazine Division".  Newbies could be in the "Noob Division"  Weekend Warriers in the "Backyard Hacks Division".  Just a thought.

I think the best part is that the new folk jump right in. They are a lot of fun. I'm kind of an idea man so my work here is done. Get some of the more organized folk to figure out the details

Whoa !  iPhones have an 8megapixel camera.  Everybody can't afford an iPhone, so we should restrict pictures to this camera to put it on a level playing field.

Hmm...I think hammered cook off would be far more entertaining. I think the thread would be unmatched by any thus far. The finished product would probably be superb....that is until everyone sobers up.
