Love Rub
I make it myself
Jackson, Tennessee. VFL (Vol for Life) -
I have all the Dizzy Pig rubs and use them all. Shakin' the Tree is my
favorite for chicken pork and vegetables and Cow lick and Raising the
steaks are used equally for steaks and burgers. -
DIY. I make my own usually. I find the pre-made stuff just too expensive. I buy it sometimes when it's on sale though and add some of my own ingredients to it when making PP or ribs. Never tried the Dizzy Pig rubs, it's just waaaay too expensive here.

Rudy's rub from Austin Texas is solid and they will ship it anywhere.huh?

Anything Dizzy Pig!

It's hard to say a favorite rub since one thats good on beef may not be as good on pork, fish, etc. If I want sweet ribs, I find "Bone Suckin Sauce" original rub to be hard to beatFor salmon, my favorite is Dizzy Pig "Raging River Rub"If you want spicy, adding a little "Slap Yo Mama" gives good flavor and heat.I have some homemade rubs, but haven't tested enough to decide how they stack up.Frank

Can't pick my favorite. But I wish I only had 3 or 4 rubs and not 20 plus that I can NEVER decide which one to use.
If I had a do-over I would only buy 3 or 4 and use the hell out of them. (posted in no order)
Butt Rub
Pineapple Head
Julios
Richard's Death by Garlic
Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). -
I like Steve Rachleins basic BBQ rub recipe..

Strictly DIY. Too expensive to buy, too easy to make. Also fussy about exactly what is in there. My actuary says I'm dead.

Anythibng made by Dizzy Pig

Commercial type rubs are very tasty. A lot of them contain a fair amount of salt. I like to experiment with my own concoction to my taste. I can tell when a rub has a lot of salt in it when my wedding band fits tightly in the morning!

I just bought some of their brisket rub. Never tried their rubsLarge & MiniMax in Lexington, KY -
Curious what you think, let me know. I use the "Brisket Rub" on beef and use the "original rub" on just about everything else. The original is really nice and more sweet than spicy than the brisket rub.Big fan of the the "Texas BBQ Rub", been using them for years:

I've used Texas BBQ rub for years also, mostly on briskets. However, it's good for putting it in chili, southwestern soups, BBQ sauce, etc.too.__________________________________________Dripping Springs, Texas.Just west of Austintatious

I'm a big fan of Plowboys Yardbird rub on smoked chicken. It's reliably delicious and is just spicy enough for me without being too hot for my young children.Adam

I really like Billy Bones products. I use several of them often. I also use a couple of Dizzy Pig. On Ribs I use a rub from a local BBQ ShopLarge BGE Decatur, AL
-
I make my own version of "Cold Mountain Rub" (think I found it here in the recipes?) I use it on pork butt's, ribs, and chucks for pulled beef. For roasts I either use Penzey's English Rib Roast Rub or S&P, garlic & rosemary.
-
Smokin' In The Dark Medium Rub - for all things pig
Dizzy Pig Raging River Rub - for all things fish
Those are my two "go to" rubs, and I use a variety of garlic and maple/apple sweet rubs from John Henry.
-
I would have to say that on pork I have my own rub or used dizzy dust once.
On beef I like raising the steaks by dizzy pig.
I tried dizzy pig tusnami spin on chicken the other day and it was awesome.
I will put pineapple head on my hand and eat it by itself.
Like most of you all, I have a plastic box full of rubs.
