    @Battleborn - I have had a few adult beverages but if I recall correctly this is a charity golf event that does great work.
    Regardless, a great way to start the day.
    Need more beverage holders in that cart!

    The charity event is a week-ish away. This was sort of a charity event with me giving golf balls to the desert. But a bad on the course is better than a good day at work.

    Been a rough month especially for Linda , we lost both Mom and Dad within 3 weeks of each other, brother passed 2 years ago same month …. While there is still family, I can’t imagine being the last of the Nuclear Family 


    I could not be there for this final moment, and I am so exceedingly proud of her strength and courage to pull this off ….

    No pics as the cook happened on a drum smoker but I delivered 4 racks of smoked ribs to the local firehouse today.  2 Baby back and 2 St Louis.  As expected, well received.
    Next up July 4- "250".  Gotta up my game for that one.

    In a prior life I experienced CDG.  A concierge met me at the plane.  They walked me through all the back passages and exit doors not available to the "poor". I was out in 10 minutes, the fee for such ease was $800.  Boarding was a bit longer as I had to wait in customs while the concierge filled out the forms.  That cost a bit more, but still bypassed all the standard lines and stuff and made it to the terminal in about 20 minutes.

    With that said, I would happily struggle through CDG "poor lines" every single day than go back to my past life - which I've been advised I should no longer discuss.

    Astonishing scenes. 

    The history of Palace is littered with very brief minor successes and years of moribund, barren, rudderless existence.  And in the words of Mr KC and his Sunshiners;  that's the way, a-ha a-ha - we like it. 

    This all came to a head in May 2010 the club were minutes from disappearing, the ownership company bankrupt and a points deduction in the league meant that if they lost the final game of the season they would be in the third tier. 

    We scraped through the game and four new owners salvaged the company - putting in about £1m each.  For context the wage bill for this season is about £80m! 

    Whilst not simple or easy since then, the growth has been founded on a very good business model in a wholly dysfunctional industry. 

    We now have genuine trophies and outside of the 7 biggest clubs in English football - are the longest serving premier league team.  

    Despite the win last night, the prize money makes it about break-even in terms of costs.  But the Eurpoa League next season will generate more cash through TV fees and sponsorship.  

    And then there is an off-season;  the manger has left, a handful of top players are vulnerable or confirmed as leaving and we have 12 at the World Cup - so little rest for them.    

    Halcyon days.

    Great photo! I'll be imaging the same target soon. I'm currently working on the Elephant Trunk nebula which is relatively close by in the sky.

    Time flies in Tuscany!  We spent 10 days there and it went by very quickly.
