Wife’s off at an executive conference, so it’s just me and the choc-co-chunk.

~.75 pound venison burgers, two egg yolks, hardcore carnivore, beef tallow and bacon rendering’s…mixing a little Dean’s in there for a bit of added moisture and flavor.
A King’s Hawaiian for a bit of sweet for the savoury..
450 degrees for 6 minutes a side….

Prepping for my role in the meal train for a friend of mine currently in ICU with viral meningitis. He’s due to be released this week (hopefully). 3 young boys (11, 9 and 5). Gonna hit em with a 4 pack of meals to help momma out.
3-2-1 baby backs and sides
lasagna and Caesar salad
sticky chicken and rice and gravy
smoked chuck roast and buns to serve it on
building a grocery list, mise en place will be key. Gotta get it all done tomorrow on my day off tomorrow. -

never used leaks until last week with potatoes. i think theres three more in the fridge. looks darn good. i have pine nuts and walnuts at the camp so might change that out this weekend. thanks for posting thatfukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it -
