He paid the first 7 five million dollars to shut up and paid an eighth 1.5 million separately later. So unless he likes lighting money on fire?

Wow @MasterC - what an exceptional gift. There had to be some great sleuthing on her part to land with that knife. I'm sure the pay back/return serve expectations are way up there.
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint. -

I have been thinking about one of these for quite a while. I raise chickens and it would be very useful on slaughter day if the birds fit in the machine. My birds are usually 5-7 lbs, what do you think?Canugghead said:@CTMike I'm not surprised, welcome to the club, it's the most useful toy/tool for us bar none.
Here's a random sample of sealed stuff in our fridge, never mind what's in our freezers

I have the vp215, max bag size 10"x15", just checked my stash in the freezer, I'd say 5 lb is max. You should consider vp230 instead, max bag size 12"x15". Given the big price difference I assume you'll buy one down south. You can FedEx me a 7 pounder to test if you want to be sure 😂GlennM said:I have been thinking about one of these for quite a while. If you decide to purchase the VP230, I purchased mine from Vacuum Sealers Unlimited for $1080 w/ free shipping. If you purchase direct from VacMaster it is $1350. I am very happy with the 230, and looking forward to trying it out on a batch of soup.Trying to seal wet ingredients was my largest source of frustration with the Food Saver.MMBGE / Large BGE / XL BGE (Craigslist Find) / SF30x80 cabinet trailer - "Ol' Mortimer" / Outdoor kitchen in progress.
