Thank you!  I wouldn’t change my life now for anything.  I had no clue how good life could be - if I wasn’t fighting to ensure my kids have something at the end or our lives I would have just thrown my hands up and walked away - but if I do that there will be nothing left for them to inherit.  They keep me fighting.

Not knowing any facts and spitballing on a Wednesday night;
I get the sentiments and not taking sides here but the reality is that your other half quite likely feels the same way regarding your kids.  Independent of that, time is on their side as well as for yours.  

You may want to look at mediation to stop the attorney fees.  All depends on your ultimate goals for declaring victory.  After all, once you devolve to the here and now it becomes a war of attrition.  
Just an opinion and we all know what those are worth.

Wish I held your faith my friend, mediation is on the table, that is why 4 lawyers next week - unfortunately the last offer (verbally hashed out over half a day) took 59 days for a response - the response was, let’s just say, interesting.

i remember my mother wanting a 50 year old shovel that lived in my dads 35 year old rusted out ford pickup.  the judge said no......she probably still slams cabinet doors over that and its been 20 something years since. dont think your wife will be happy no matter what
