Gotta admit, there is great envy in that new life you’re living, @Ozzie_Isaac. I like how you roll.
Hard to beat sharing food with friends! I’m very blessed with a lot of good people in my life :)

Very nice @Dyal_SC !  Beautiful presentation.

I think in most families chow time is announced by “it’s dinner time” or something like that. But for eggheads, etc. it’s usually “are you done taking pictures?!?”

Love the attention given to the jalapeños. I need to get photography tips from you.

@caliking - a cook of beauty.  Nailed those steaks. Great move on the cap steal.

Looks perfect @Ozzie_Isaac I am glad you like it with the salmon! I up the pepper flakes and garlic with the salmon and it is a good thing.

Great plate right there, a banquet waiting to be enjoyed. However, the tableware placement on the left setting is backward. =)

I used about 10 cloves instead of the three it called for 🤣. I used @caliking ‘s approach to garlic.

Glad @caliking stepped in and followed @CTMike!

Made Maangchi’s Fire Salmon courtesy of @CTMike and @BeanHead.  Came out very very good!  Will probably add more red pepper flakes and maybe some Taekyung Red Pepper Powder next time for some more heat.  Fried rice cakes was new to me, but with the salmon it added a nice texture contrast.  Also made some broiled cauliflower with Taekyung Powder and Sate powder.  Cucumber salad (ginger and garlic) paired perfectly. Gewürztraminer wine which was slightly sweet went well too.

note in cooking with salmon … recipe calls for adding 1/4 cup water then reducing.  Salmon cooks faster than the chicken, so next time I plan to add just a splash of water (I also doubled the tamari - I use that instead of soy sauce)

    Looks killer Ozzie.

No wonder it turned out so well! I'd crush that plate. Everything on it looks delicious.
