Hello everyone,

Myself, SWMBO, and the adult kids are going to upstate NYC for a wedding in September then going to the City for 3 or 4 nights. I am looking for somewhere to have a nice B-day dinner. I have searched the interwebs and needless to say there is an over abundance of information. I thought I would ask you wonderful and knowledgeable folks for ideas. Then I could start making a list. Thank you in advance.

Anton’s is worth a look.

For a non-celebratory meal, don’t forget about Katz Deli. Watching them carve pastrami will give you flashbacks of that Apple BBQ brisket trimming video but man is it good.

As above, separate the wheat from the chaff in the above NYC thread as there is a lot of gold in there.
To add-if you have about an hour and change to spare one day, jump the Staten Island Ferry over and back (free). You get incredible views of the Manhattan skyline. FWIW-

Food largely depends on where you will be staying in NYC. Narrow that down. Then a “itinerary” then you can get a game plan on must eats
