Trump Coming in Clutch!

Full circle, he attempts to ban it 4-5 years ago then "rescues" it by forcing sale of 50% to someone in the US. Haven't heard yet how that addresses his original concerns about data privacy.THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER

He is a master of the game. Gen Z will always remember him for his massive win! Their votes count.
I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.

It's good to have a hero @Ozzie_Isaac, keeps you humble.THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER

What's data privacy to a traitor that steals boxes and boxes of TS-SCI?

Hero is pretty strong words. I am probably more closely aligned with @Botch than you would suspect.Legume said:It's good to have a hero @Ozzie_Isaac, keeps you humble.
Personally, I think he should be in jail for the classified documents situation. That was a slam dunk.
I think everyone in government is complicit in his ascension to President because they chased stupid stuff like porn start hush money payment. Just like chasing Bill for a few blowjobs. How easily the public is misdirected.
I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.

We can load your whole retirement with excellent movie recommendations @Botch just let us know when you’re ready. Reading the room I think Pulp Fiction is a good starting point

Con Air is a great movie! Pretty much any Nicholas Cage movie is Oscar worthy. His skills know no bounds. I would venture to say he rivals Kenneth Branagh for theater skills.Botch said:I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.

I love this. I was 17 when Con Air was released. I thought it the best movie ever! 20 years later, I couldn't stomach it.Ozzie_Isaac said:

I've got a list of movies I want/"should" watch already, but I just am not into the movie artform (oddly I do have two favorite directors: Brian dePalma and Stanley Kubrick). The last full movie I watched was Top Gun II, (to see how my new Apple TV 4K worked), and my last time in a theater was for the original Spider Man movie (I was still dating what's-her-name and her son wanted to see it).alaskanassasin said:We can load your whole retirement with excellent movie recommendations @Botch just let us know when you’re ready. There's still way too much new music to explore first, especially since I got a streamer.

So rarely post on this forum these days, but thought of you guys today and thought I’d check in from the UK

Will be interesting, our Prez doesn’t get along with your PM. Makes me think of the Boston Tea party for some reason. I guess we will be back on shaky ground.TheToast said:So rarely post on this forum these days, but thought of you guys today and thought I’d check in from the UKI would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.

Well the UK & USA relationship has been important for trade, security but also historically the UK will back the US on whatever madcap scheme they have, so the US don’t have to go it alone. War in Middle East, support for Israel… because it’s always been a bad look to be the one country waging war.Ozzie_Isaac said:

So the relationship will deteriorate. Plus most of the UK’s Labour Party have been v vocal in disliking Trump before.Trump is about to wreck America’s position in global trade anyway if he sticks to his promises of going wild with tariffs. And security wise, yikes. Russia must be so happy.Mad times. At least we still have bbq -
Trump drops tea into the harbor 😁....it's all good againfukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it
