Hero is pretty strong words. I am probably more closely aligned with @Botch than you would suspect.

Personally, I think he should be in jail for the classified documents situation. That was a slam dunk.

I think everyone in government is complicit in his ascension to President because they chased stupid stuff like porn start hush money payment. Just like chasing Bill for a few blowjobs. How easily the public is misdirected.

Con Air is a great movie! Pretty much any Nicholas Cage movie is Oscar worthy. His skills know no bounds. I would venture to say he rivals Kenneth Branagh for theater skills.

I love this. I was 17 when Con Air was released. I thought it the best movie ever! 20 years later, I couldn't stomach it.

The Rock, however.... Timeless.

I've got a list of movies I want/"should" watch already, but I just am not into the movie artform (oddly I do have two favorite directors: Brian dePalma and Stanley Kubrick). The last full movie I watched was Top Gun II, (to see how my new Apple TV 4K worked), and my last time in a theater was for the original Spider Man movie (I was still dating what's-her-name and her son wanted to see it).
There's still way too much new music to explore first, especially since I got a streamer.

Well the UK & USA relationship has been important for trade, security but also historically the UK will back the US on whatever madcap scheme they have, so the US don’t have to go it alone. War in Middle East, support for Israel… because it’s always been a bad look to be the one country waging war.

America's been our drunk buddy that may do dumb stuff but we’ll always be there for them.

But am not sure Trump cares about looking like the global bad guy. So the relationship will deteriorate. Plus most of the UK’s Labour Party have been v vocal in disliking Trump before.

Trump is about to wreck America’s position in global trade anyway if he sticks to his promises of going wild with tariffs. And security wise, yikes. Russia must be so happy.
