I was in TN a couple of weeks ago and stopped in a liquor store to see what they had to offer. I asked the cashier if they had Blanton’s. She says yes and I ask the price, $149 she says. No thank you, I said.

@TechsasJim - 7 is nice, skip 8 and grab any Fusion 9 you can find.  BBC quit the fusion series last year.  I found a local store that the customers didn't appreciate what was in front of them.  Bought their last three bottles of 9.  You will be justly rewarded.

Thanks for the advice Cap!    I’ve never seen 9 in the wild but will keep eyes peeled.

Not consuming now but purchased.   One bottle for me, another as a bday gift for a buddy.

After consulting with another friend I think I’m keeping the Architect and gifting the Wheated.

I am doing the “dry January” thing, so I’ll be living vicariously through the rest of you for the month.  Or posting up coffee.  Carry on!

And here’s a pint bottle going into the golf bag flask for “birdie shots”.   The BT was exhausted last weekend

Can appreciate that John.   I was with 3 friends this morning that are doing the same.   Those guys had a very rough December so it’s likely deserved.

It was a long December, Jim, but there’s reason to believe maybe this year will be better than the last.

    Everything is better pickled, Cap.
  • I made a couple of batches of lemon drop martinis for me and daughter to have after dinner to celebrate her last night living at home for a couple of years. SWMBO rarely drinks and wasn’t a fan of them.

Mrs.C accompanied me to the store today and we came home with these two bottles

Now to rearrange my one lowly shelf I can use for my brown water storage.

    Mission accomplished.
After carefully packing I believe tow more bottles will fit before needing to empty one.

By the way Mrs.C purchased them for me. She's the best.

Definitely a keeper as she knows her brown water.  Nice score and nice collection.

Thanks cap she's definitely a keeper.

Techsasjim been looking for the confiscated for awhile with no luck. Ran into this and was informed the owl is going extinct. So could be my last call around this neck of the woods. A little priceyer than the confiscated

Thanks for the heads-up on the Owl.  I have been able to find the Confiscated at a discount when in search mode. That #12 is well above my pay grade.  But it's all in what you enjoy.
