We took a stroll through campus since Pat McAfee and the Game day crew is in town. The kids started lining up at 11am today. Got a free beer while sitting in traffic 😂~ John - https://www.instagram.com/hoosier_egger

Conviction bourbon, rocks:
To those who can’t quite make out the writing on the glass, it’s a gift from my daughters. It reads “To Dad, From The Reasons Why You Drink”"I've made a note never to piss you two off." - Stike -

Apple cider Old Fashioned:
- 2 oz local cider
- 2 oz Woodford Rye
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- 3 drops bitters
I didn’t have an orange for garnish, and decided not to waste a cinnamon stick like the recipe called for.MMBGE / Large BGE / XL BGE (Craigslist Find) / SF30x80 cabinet trailer - "Ol' Mortimer" / Outdoor kitchen in progress.

Never have had that line from BBC but I find their other offerings to be quite good. (Their Discovery Series is a bit too rich for me as is the above.) Too bad they terminated their Fusion line at #9.
I like the Origin series for the $$.
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. -

the eagle rare bottle i am enjoying tonight has been open about a year and a half. and it is really good. about 1/4 left so it has been a very occasional pour over that time.
curious what others think about shelf life once opened for bourbon. does anyone intentionally age a bottle, note when opened, etc. or maybe just casually observe and go with whats good. or totally ignore. we vacuum cap wine and make sure it goes quick. maybe some people only have one bottle opened at a time, etc. -

I had a bunch of neighbors over last night for a whiskey tasting. Had a lot of different options out on the table. I think the Weller Special Reserve was the winner, but by midnight we were all pretty blitzed so who knows. Anyway, it reminded me of some of the gatherings you’ve posted."I've made a note never to piss you two off." - Stike -

hot chocolate with peppermint schnapps, my traditional reward after putting up the outdoor Christmas lights. Got up on the roof this year and the moss was so bad that I spent the first two hours knocking off moss and then vacuuming the gutters with my extension pipe. So a good time indeed.~~
