AI learns to distinguish between aromas of US and Scottish whiskies

One algorithm identified the five strongest notes in each drink more accurately than any one of a panel of experts

yep, in Canada.  I'm more scotch than rye. I've been drinking scotch for decades, rye only a few years. hard to get serious about rye when there is so much nice scotch so CR usually does it for me.  But make some suggestions - I'm all liver, errrr ears.
For Rye , Lot 40 is the one to go for here in Canada . Lot 40 Dark Oak is also fantastic ! Cheers .

Cinnamon tea with a splash of Jack Fire and a good glug of bourbon cream. Was a nice warm up.

thanks.  I'll put it down on the next-buy list. we can't get the dark oak here, just the cherry. but the plain jane is available. 100 rye is a perk for the purist in me.

The problem is people buy it at that price. If nobody did, the price would come down.

The higher they price it, the more will buy it seems to be the trend with otherhalf😁 they really have no competition and it would take years to go thru their selections. I mean where do you go to find a triple hopped imperial oat cream india pale ale and have several choices to sample

Here’s a pro-tip: don’t look at the price.  When it comes to the highest quality craft beer, just buy and enjoy.

sunny hot summer days work best for me with the imperial ipa. go broccoli and avoid the lettuce per the doctors orders =)  allagash makes a better winter beer but finding it is like hitting the lottery lately, a 4 pack is probably 80 bucks now ;)

I have most of a bottle of Pernod here at home from the summer and am thinking of trying it in a Christmas drink. Other than the obvious Schnapps with a candy cane twizzler, any ideas?  (P.S. I a not a huge "minty drink" fan, hence the ask).
