I haven’t had any offering from NR that was undrinkable. Had one single barrel not as good as others, but the lead off tasting note was Smokey.

@fishlessman - Sambuca is deadly and my favourite (nod) is Molinari, quite chilled. But you've gotta be in a digestivo/licorice mindset to truly appreciate. Thanks for the reminder.
I'm too old for Sambuca shenanigans these days. I am now motivated to go again at a slower pace. And yes, you can light the shot-the skill is to slam the shot with the flame remaining burning around the rim. Too old for those challenges.

havent bought it for so long that i had to ask the liquor store manager where it was.......it was right next to the gin for reasons unknown in the gin section of our liquor barn. way too sweet for more than one or two for me

That Chessman is a 1969 bottled 10 year old Old Crow. The cork broke with us attempting to open it. We achieved our task and had to strain out the particles. Oh my that is/was some good brown water.
