Ripping down our deck. Long overdue. It should have came down the minute the previous owner built it.

I wish. The deck needs to come down before we can start landscaping. The eventual goal is a patio below the deck. I hand picked/removed an area of 14' x 23" of rock the last few weeks. (I found 567 nails) That was fun. Since the rock is gone we can dig out, grade, and fill for either cement or pavers in the future. We also need to put in a retaining wall. Plus a new cement path behind the garage so the deck stairs can land on. Once we get that out of the way the new deck can start to be constructed. Taking down the deck is the easy part..."The pig is an amazing animal. You feed a pig an apple and it makes bacon. Let's see Michael Phelps do that" - Jim Gaffigan

This guy just came in to use our dump station. I haven't visited the website yet. He had 6 huge dogs in there. . . note the lack of a windshield. There was some type of screen affixed to the windshield opening. The dogs kept dislodging said screen.

My dad hits a lot of rv parks and as you are probably quite aware most of them have do not allow older rvs. This guy looks like a menace and liability, in a old rv.kl8ton said:

I took one of my dogs Lou for our (weather permitting) nightly (electric) bike ride to the back of the farm. If I can see at all I prefer to ride with the head light off, and lou’s preference is to run ahead 50-100 yards or so. When I reached the turnaround spot I heard barking in the woods that wasn’t Lou but a dog of some kind, I yelled for Lou and he reluctantly came to my side. My immediate reaction was to retreat, I’m in shorts sandals not carrying a knife or anything, I soon realized it was a coyote trying to lure Lou into the woods. Even after riding back 1/4 mile I could still here it barking and yipping. Proud of my dog for not engaging

My wife let our dog out a few nights ago and she heard our dog growling. She went out and checked on him and noticed the neighbors flood light turn on with a coyote running away from our yard. We were lucky the coyote wasn't in a pack of any kind. Glad to hear your dog didn't go and investigate.

Stay strapped or get clapped. We have a pretty good amount of coyotes around. Usually not a problem until someone’s Pomeranian stays in the yard too long.alaskanassasin said:I took one of my dogs Lou for our (weather permitting) nightly (electric) bike ride to the back of the farm. Coyotes, at least around here are pretty solitary. Unless it’s a small pet, they are pretty safe.WeberWho said:alaskanassasin said:I took one of my dogs Lou for our (weather permitting) nightly (electric) bike ride to the back of the farm. I believe they are typically solitary but I've seen them in a group of 3 when pulling into my driveway late one night. I've also seen them solo in the middle of the day wondering down the sidewalk. (I think they are nocturnal?) I know the city was looking to put a few of them down as they were coming up to people in the middle of the day with dogs and trying to attack them. (They thought it could have possible rabies) It kind of has become a city punchline the last few years as everyone was b*tching about them. So when someone would complain that their Amazon package went missing or some street wasn't plowed it would usually be answered with, "It was the coyotes." The first week or two I had some good laughs as someone was asking a legit question and it would some how end up going back to the coyotes. Then it became overdone. Like most jokes overtime."The pig is an amazing animal. You feed a pig an apple and it makes bacon. Let's see Michael Phelps do that" - Jim Gaffigan

If you are a monthly guest here your RV has to be newer than 10 years old. Keeps the place looking nicer. Years ago we did not have that rule and some areas of our campground somewhat resembled a homeless camp.alaskanassasin said:

Also this is just a general rule. Many rigs look great and they are older. If someone sends me a photo of their exterior I will likely approve it. The grocery cart for example would be welcome here all summer long. My main goal is to avoid our campground being used as a low cost housing option.kl8ton said:
