Checked out some new builds in town (for a friend). This is they type of quality you get for $1M. This pot filler is eye height, if you are 6'2". I will imagine this is what Salt Bae uses to fill pots.

I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.

I really don't understand why you would not simply purchase your own plane and get your pilots license like I did. It opens up many more smaller airports that you can travel to and much easier/more efficient. Since you travel so much it would only make sense.JohnInCarolina said:
I'm sure there are worse airports to navigate, but as someone who connects through ATL often, it's not a great place to be. Because it moves so many people all the time, it is always crowded, it is not cleaned well, and it can often be difficult to find a place to simply plug in and work in peace.lousubcap said:In my book ATL is no where near the worst airport in the country. That place is well designed to quickly move lots of people.
Which aircraft do you own?

Well you’re going to need a bigger plane than that if you expect to have massage therapy during your flight. -

ran a 3/8 tube down an inch and a half drain line for the clothes washer and up stairs sink. was frozen solid. attached the tube to the hot water faucet for the washer and trickled hot water down near the frozen section. first drain line i ever thawed out, washer backed upstairs to the sink which caused a waterfall coming back down over the laundry and downstairs bathroom. mt washington now has a new cold record
fukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it -
That sucks @fishlessman . Always something. Hope you caught it quickly.

i think it was a small drip from the upstairs faucet every few minutes hitting a cold pipe elbow at ground level. probably took a few days or more to freeze such a big pipe. anyways, stripped the faucet so maybe next weekend that gets replaced. its fully shut off now. dont know where i stand on the outside connections to the dry well. separate system from the whole house, a problem but not a deal breaker if i cant get it to work till spring. worse is if i need to dig another dry well, its not part of the leach which is good.

Cool. A solid airplane and a lot of those still flying. I believe Cessna restarted production of those a few years ago.

Called my GP for a checkup. Apparently, since it has been more than 3 years they consider me a "new patient", and they are not taking new patients. Also have no recommendations. Said go online to some community doctor board and see if you can find anybody taking new patients. Guess I should have gone in during COVID to maintain my status. Just like Airline Status I guess.
Yeah, thanks for that, doc.I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.

I missed a big chunk of time without getting a checkup. So I got a real good general practitioner and got my blood work back and...shakes head "these labs...you should really be dead..."That was when I quit drinking and I weighed 55 pounds more than I do now (at college weight). Took a few years but my blood work looks great now. And I feel 100 times better.______________________________________________I love lamp..

Glad you took it serious and made the necessary life changes. I am getting to that point where I should probably work on some lifestyle improvements. Ignorance is bliss, till you dead.nolaegghead said:I missed a big chunk of time without getting a checkup. Yeah, they give those limited spots to paying customers. Maybe insurance should make annual minimum "hold my spot" payments to your PCP since you and your company are both paying them the same amount.Ozzie_Isaac said:Called my GP for a checkup. Need PCP to make referrals, no PCPs take new clients, so CVS minute clinic to the rescue.Legume said:

I have scheduled my last few specialists without have referrals. We shall see what the insurance says to that. Being that I have $6k out of pocket before they pay anything, I am not real worried.
Don't even want to get into cash pay vs. sending through insurance so it applies to my deductible. That adds roughly 40% to my bill, but will save me money if I hit deductible this year prior to October.I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.

Yeah, thanks for that, doc. With Ozzie's money I'm stunned to see he doesn't have a house physician.“Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.” ― Philip K. Diçk -
I was just referred for PT. My PCP asked if I had a preferred l location or did I want to use the PT group in their building (all in network, same medical group). They're 4 blocks away, so easy choice. Then I get there and find out that they're classified as a hospital facility (though not actually a hospital) and my PT visits are going to be ~$390 each. The nice lady checking me in says very quietly, go to any other facility and it will be a ton cheaper, so I canceled and walked out. The doctor had no idea it was that much because of the classification. Still waiting on confirmation, but my first PT visit today should be billed at less than half, unclear what my portion will be.THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER

Only when we need urgent care. Our town has an amazing home urgent care service. Cost is same as going to the stand-alone building and you wait in the comfort of your home. We have used then 4 or 5 times.HeavyG said:Legume said:

If I think it will need xrays, then we go in, but most everything else it works well for.I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.
