I only buy refrigerated raw beef.
I used too.  However, after my positive experience with SRF I have amended my ways.

Half the time I freeze it myself.

The joke was the orange shelves aren’t refrigerated normally, but I know there’s a walk in area with them.  Anyway nevermind.

@Ozzie_Isaac - better to be lucky than good with that A5 right there. Dang-
    Enjoy!!
I was very very, like extremely tempted.  However, I was on the hunt for some decent looking New York strips for a dinner party tonight.  Struck out.  Now that I know my Costco carries them, I will be back to get one for my son and me to try.
As you well know, it is extremely rich.  A little goes along way (well, maybe not for your son...).  The ultimate 1/2" steak.   B)

Edit-another invite lost in the ether!!  Enjoy the party!

Since the ground stop has lifted and the balloon is gone, I'm headed for LEO and a great chance of refueling for escape velocity.  Have a great Saturday.
Landing will be better than a shot up balloon for sure.   B)

In my book ATL is no where near the worst airport in the country.  That place is well designed to quickly move lots of people.

I have no issues with ATL. I apparently walk much faster than the estimates. Sad no BGE products displayed anywhere so far. Isn't that what Atlanta is known for?

Drinking tea and finishing up spring break planning and starting to sketch out our Thanksgiving trip.

Summer will just be NC and ME to see family, so no planning required beyond leave requests at work and booking one flight.

  • @kl8ton why are you walking? That’s a haul. Jump on the train. Anyone who thinks atlanta airport is the worse needs to get out a bit more. This place runs like a well oiled machine. Although I may be a bit biased, as this is my home airport, and I’m here twice a week minimum.

I'm sure there are worse airports to navigate, but as someone who connects through ATL often, it's not a great place to be.  Because it moves so many people all the time, it is always crowded, it is not cleaned well, and it can often be difficult to find a place to simply plug in and work in peace.

Would like the exercise before I sit for 3+ more hours. It was fine. I went on a 4 mile hike yesterday through the snow. I can attest to JIC statements. All recycling bins I've seen so far are overflowing.  It's all good. I'm bout to sit in a chair and travel 500 mph.

I guess I was talking from a logistical standpoint more than anything. Not a relax in a quiet corner. If you are trying to find a place to work in peace at an airport you are correct. Atlanta is not the best place. Unless you have club access but that too can be crowded at times. Remember we are talking about the busiest airport in the world. So yeah it is busy no doubt.

@Buckwoody Egger - Do you mind posting a link to that Spotify station? Always looking for excellent playlists.

Wow, turned a pig into sausage all before breakfast.

Just poking—I figure that’s one that took a ride the other day. Love me some whole hog sausage. Looks good

Put some lipstick on the medium. With a new base and a lick of paint she’s ready for continued hard use. Kind of interesting with the old lid and new dimples base. Need to make a new handle.

I do have club access and even those are very crowded in ATL.  They’re also not all that nice compared to many other clubs at airports I’ve been through.  At least for Delta, maybe the club lounges for other airlines are better in ATL, I don’t know.

The upshot of ATL in my experience is that flights tend to be on time and I usually have enough time to make my connection.  That and it being the closest Delta hub to RDU means it just makes sense for me to use it for connections.  But it’s really not all that great a place to be in general and when I do have a good option to avoid it, I take it.

These are all first world problems, I know.

Double anus shrunk and filled the two holes? j/k

Edit: an old joke came to mind... a chicken and a pig spent the night together, next morning the pig asked what's for breakfast, the chicken: 'egg and bacon'.
