It was interesting to me because he crunched a whole bunch of real-world numbers on his own commute to give a really good comparison of the costs between battery-only, hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and ICE cars.
When it comes time to retire my convertible and Taco, something like this would be a good option; run it electric-only around town, with very little gas in the tank (so I'm not hauling the weight) then fill-er-up for road trips.
I will be watching this again later, he's one of those Ewe-Tubers who should probably switch to decaf; really rattles off the numbers quickly. He does do a little politicizing at one point."The sooner you fall behind, the more time you'll have to catch up." - SW
