@caliking mainly the bacon fat renders into the cracker. And they stick and hold together. They weren't really all that smoky. Just divide your bacon slice into threes it'll hang off a little bit on each side of the cracker, but it will shrink up perfect. After being cooked. 250 for an hour . This is my first time making. Maybe next time I'll do some kind of glaze. Or a drizzle of maple syrup or something on top.2-XLs ,MM,blackstone,Ooni koda 16,R&V works 8.5 gallon fryer, express smoker and 40" smoking cajun

Last night. Mushroom, pearl barley, and veg soup. Played with the cornbread recipe, and doubled the butter. Turned out to be the pro move

@caliking - I like how your version of "vegetable soup" appears to include some protein. That kielbasa?"I've made a note never to piss you two off." - Stike

Garlic and butter should always be added in copious amounts.I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.

Sous vided striploin with a garlic, shallot, cumin, cream and a goat cheese sauce; sweet potato fries, and a wicked Asian kale salad made by wifey.

Trust you used bottom shelf bourbon!Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.

In fact I made a special trip to the liquor store yesterday. The spousal unit asked why I was going out to buy more bourbon when I had so much on hand. I had to explain that while I had a lot of really nice bourbon, I did not have "baking bourbon". In this case, my story had the virtue or being true!lousubcap said:Trust you used bottom shelf bourbon!"I've made a note never to piss you two off." - Stike

I pity all you poor schmucks having to check your eggs all night trying to make sure your Brisket or prime rib turns out. I asked my wife and kids what they wanted for Christmas Eve dinner and I was told this. #christmasdinneriseasy. In all seriousness I am cooking a Turkey and ham tomorrow. Merry Christmas all. 🎄🎄
