Rosemary roasted almonds on the above menu sounds like something I need to do tomorrow .
The best things in life are not things.

Sorry for all of us having fun on New Year’s (eve), Pete. You should change your handle to “turd in the punch bowl” #buzzkillpgprescott said:He did say New Years and not New Years Eve, right?Keepin' It Weird in The ATX FBTX -

Not a BGE meal, but a real treat to us who just discovered this Southern dish in 2021…hence the way to celebrate 2021 on the way out…Cajun Etouffee using shrimp. MAN did it rock!Brunch tomorrow will be eggs Benedict and of course with champagne! Then tomorrow evening I’m carrying on a tradition my late Mother started when I was a wee one probably 74 or 75 years ago! Chili!!!

-Crab cakes.
-Sesame zoodles.
-Some kind of glazed sweet potato thing, with green lentils, black-eyed peas, DP Bombay Curry, coconut milk, white miso, etc.
Washed down with champagne. Because, we don't know any better.
Everything came together really well. Need to work on the sweet potato lentil thing. Its got legs.
And, no pics. I was running late for dinner service.#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX. -
Nothing special. A pedestrian 93% ground beef steak cooked MR with provolone and mushroom gravy and cabbage ( sweet and sour dill)
