    My point was "News" is and always has been entertainment first.  This is not a new development.
    That’s certainly why I don’t watch it.  

    My point was only that the screencap in isolation paints a misleading picture of what the network was actually reporting at the time.  I don’t much care for CNN but fair is fair.

    KR admitted himself that in hindsight bringing an open carry long gun into a chaotic mess was a mistake, and obviously the average person doesn't do that.

    Also, in a civil court, the type of evidence that is admissible, in his case his consumption of internet and social media activity which was suppressed in the criminal trial, is fair game.  With all the bars lowered, what is amazing is how you're so sure about the results of that which hasn't happened will happen.

    Agreed, but all those issues cut both ways. He shot people actively engaged in trying to harm or kill him. None of them was and innocent bystander that would maybe have a case. They were engaged in negligence themselves. But hey, we will see. 

    The msm people who slandered their kid and continue to this day reporting demonstrably false information that is harmful to him are going to pay. Bigly! 

    I’ll bet you an NA beer that he never pays a cent and receives millions.

    He didn't say it but he implied it on a couple occasions and I think that was wrong to do unless there was direct evidence that he was self-proclaimed of affiliated with one of those groups.

     Unfortunately many others did say it and much more that was demonstrably false and repeated it even after no reasonable person should have done so.

    It will be interesting to see how the next protests/riots play out. Will there be more shots fired? Less shots fired? More buildings burned or less buildings burned? Time will tell.

    I think so. Because that makes it easier to believe they were going to kill him and not just rough him up. If they had no record and weren’t mentally unstable then it seems it would be much more possible they just planned to rough him up.

    The more interesting case is the current school shooting. Parents buy kid a gun, kid kills classmates at school, parents end up getting charged (rightly so IMHO), now parents beat feet and are on the run.

    Phone records showed that, when school admin called his folks about him searching for ammo on his phone, his mom texted her son something like, "LOL, I'm not mad at you, you just need to be more careful".
