Greetings friends,
No pics of the acrid smoke jetting out at every angle from my trusty LL at what sounded like I must’ve accidentally plugged it into the 220 Jack, but it’s officially toast. After many years, and hundreds of cooks.

The JJ torch, cane-style torch, and weed burner are kinda unwieldy compared to the mapp/map-pro/propane torch.#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX. -

You don’t keep a spare? I found one in a store close out. It sat in the box for 3 years before I gave my old one and the medium to my nephew. Both of the Looftlighters are still working.IMaskedMarvel said:Greetings friends,

Simple weed burner for the win. Quick BGE start and fun frying weeds, especially this season. Here's a link-the bottle is around $6 US.

Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint. -
Every time I get a backup, I end up giving it to a friend who just got their first BGE!Gulfcoastguy said:

I've been using this heat gun for about 5 years. Works similar to looftlighter but much cheaper. I previously had a looftlighter that quit working and like this more - don't have to hold the button, just flip switch and go.

Just curious to how you accidentally plug 110 into 220 unless you have 220 wired to a 110 receptacleVisalia, Ca @lkapigian

In cooking, often we implement steps for which we have no explanations other than ‘that’s what everybody else does’ or ‘that’s what I have been told.’ Dare to think for yourself. -
My Looftlighter just stopped working one day. I emailed Looftlighter and they sent me a new one for free.

That's why I suggested to OP it's worth a try.dstearn said:My Looftlighter just stopped working one day. I emailed Looftlighter and they sent me a new one for free.canuckland
