EXPLODING LOOFTLIGHTER!!! WHOA!

Greetings friends,

No pics  of the acrid smoke jetting out at every angle from my trusty LL at what sounded like I must’ve accidentally plugged it into the 220 Jack, but it’s officially toast. After many years, and hundreds of cooks. 

So…. What’s next?

The JJ torch, cane-style torch, and weed burner are kinda unwieldy compared to the mapp/map-pro/propane torch.

You don’t keep a spare? I found one in a store close out. It sat in the box for 3 years before I gave my old one and the medium to my nephew. Both of the Looftlighters are still working.

Every time I get a backup, I end up giving it to a friend who just got their first BGE!

I've been using this heat gun for about 5 years. Works similar to looftlighter but much cheaper. I previously had a looftlighter that quit working and like this more - don't have to hold the button, just flip switch and go.

Alibaba.com. loof lighters are $18-$24 multi different colors.  I use the jj geroge as well. I've bought many as gifts no issues

My Looftlighter just stopped working one day. I emailed Looftlighter and they sent me a new one for free.
