I am still surprised at the near total removal of mask mandates across many states since we are several millions of administered vaccine shots from herd immunity. Reminds me of quitting at the 26 mile mark of a marathon. We have come so far, why quit now?
Being old I have been fully juiced for over two months and still get asked "Why do you wear a mask in public?" Since I do not have a tattoo on my forehead saying I have been fully vaccinated it is for others. The selfish nature of today is rampant...and the rest of us will have to deal with it.

yeah, we still need over 100 million to get the vaccine, for starters, to get anywhere near "herd" immunity. But more importantly, this needs to be done everywhere on the planet or we'll just be playing whack-a-mole with ever increasingly virulent and contagious variants.

Every possible side effect is splashed across the inter webs. You have to look very hardship to find out that the side effects of having Covid are many times more common than any possible vaccine side effects.
