    Managed to move up my vaccine date, courtesy of Duke and I suspect NC opening things up to everyone.  I'll get my first stab of the Pfizer vaccine this Wednesday.

    i left my name on the state run mass vax program, betting ill have my second moderna shot before i see anything from the state. im now eligible in three categories with the state and still nothing from them

    Got first dose yesterday, second one 16 weeks out.
    The long gap is due to this strategy:
    To increase the number of individuals benefiting from the first dose of vaccine, the province is following recommendations from the National Advisory Committee on Immunization (NACI) to extend the second dose of COVID-19 vaccine to 4 months after receipt of the first dose.

    OTOH, apparently (subject to confirmation) those who took AZ may get their second dose sooner due to controversy, lower demand, limited age groups (lost track of the eligibility changes), and short expiry window of supply on hand. Not sure where the 1.5 million the US loaned us stands.

    which one did you get, the doctor that gave me the moderna shot mentioned not to laminate the covid card after the second shot as there will probably be another booster in 6 to 8 months

    Our state also gave use a url to a site that has all of our vaccinations recorded. According to it I am due for another tetanus shot.

    Personally I don’t know why we don’t split the stockpile between Canada and Mexico if we aren’t going to use it.

    I was on a call today with some colleagues from overseas.  They were just shaking their heads over how dumb some of the stuff going on in the US is.  It’s like we’re trying to make things worse.

    I had symptoms with the first and SWMBO did not. I got eyerolls. Next one did nothing to me but she spent the weekend in bed. I did not eyeroll however.

    hoping it changes sooner, im thinking in a month or two most here that want the vaccine will have gotten it and there will be alot extra
