    John,

First, what a great album....and one of many great songs on it. I might suggest that you look for the more Blood, More Tracks album released back in the fall (I think). It is the acoustic versions / demo's, Dylan recorded before going into the studio with a band to record Blood on the Tracks. Great versions of that one along with the others. Happy Listening.

Ever since we lost Chick my forums have been populated with great clips of his various shows, especially The Elektric Band, that I haven't seen before.  Here's an encore of them performing one of his classics, Spain.  They don't really get into the Head until about 4:40.  Enjoy!

And, if you've never heard it, Al Jarreau did an incredible cover of this (he wrote the lyrics) that I've been trying to sing along with, 3 decades or so now:

@Botch - my older ears and brain struggled to process Al Jarrequ's words in real time for that song. Take a look at "Amazing SlowDowner" by Roni Music Software, it may help; EDIT- especially where he starts Scat singing. https://www.ronimusic.com

Thanks, @SamIAm2.  That software would've been a godsend back in my cover band days (they have inexpensive hardware recorder/playback thingies that do the same thing now, too).

You can get lyrics to just about anything these days by typing the song title, followed by "lyrics", into EweTube; I just found this:

The rhythm over "every reverie" just ain't natural, but I'll get it.  Someday.   :)

A brilliant concert end, "Pygmy Twylyght" (featuring a fun impromptu from a scantily-clad, kinda hot groupie), another tune, and "Dickie's Such an ****", by the brilliant FZ and his "Mothers".  Dayam.

I saw him in concert with Emmylou Harris at the Fox Theater here in Atlanta a few years back. What a great show! Remember when we used to have live concerts?

    Steven Wilson, Home Invasion.
Everyone goes, Who?  He was the leader of Porcupine Tree (and again everyone goes, Who?)  This is one of his three sold-out nights at the Royal Albert Hall, so there.

Steve's music is kind've a more pop-friendly, but equally dark, version of Dream Theater.  He's also known for re-mixing many classic prog albums to 5.1/Surround Sound (including my wet dream, King Crimson's Discipline; if only he could also tackle Aja).  Because of that, this is one great-sounding Bluray concert, even though I discovered my subwoofer's internal amp went out.  Again.
Killer band, including the guy who was hired, in his twenties, by some guy named Miles Davis; yeah, that level of musicianship.

Just received Steve's newest set, The Future Bites; anxious to give it a spin (I'm a bit behind).  Highly Recommended.

I can’t believe that I had never seen this before (and I’m shocked that YouTube had never brought it up, definitely an indictment of their algorithm), but this 6:48 clip from Sesame Street could be the best 6:48 in public television history.
