Ouch. But, glad that you were able to get the parts you needed. Every place seems to be  out of plumbing stuff.

I tried, but I kept putting in the shredded parmesan second.  Had to scrap it all and just use mozzarella.

A 1-time personal might SHREAD the parm, but a 2-time personal chef knows that grating it is the way.

Hate to be that guy but we have been trying to get back to Texas for the past 5 days. Decided leaving today I-10 to Houston and up to Salado would work. Can’t say having the beach to ourselves has been a bad thing.

Salado TX & 30A  FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.

Yep.  You are THAT guy.  If it makes you feel any better, you are not the only THAT guy I know. A buddy of mine in Daytona texted me this pic from his open air Jeep - after I made him aware that it was below freezing in some parts of my house and at least one pipe had burst.

@Foghorn - given all you do for your community I am saddened (clean term here) that you have the f'ing pipe burst to address.  I am appreciative that others are dealing with much more and more challenging issues but that doesn't lessen concern.
Here's to minimal damage and quick restoration.
