That's cool and all, but have you ever seen attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion, or watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate?
Since I am a robot, yes.  Yes I have.

Is the 2049 version any good?

Once, I bought those “Jumbo” eggs.
Oh come off it man.  You own a bidet!  If a bunghole washer isn’t extravagant, I don’t know what is!
Do you wash your hands with a paper towel? A bidet is completely necessary.

Out here, the housing is so expensive that they need more than a good income, they need a lot of money for the down payment, and they don't have that. We used to get primarily people who were on their last rental before buying; they were working on building good credit and saving for their achievable down payment. Now that isn't the case. It's just not in their near-term future.

Not as good as the original, but good escapism.   I read a few Phillip K **** books and I believe that one was called something like do androids dream of electric sheep

I bought a nice car. Paid more for it than my first house. Rolled the dice on quality being worth the extra coin. Seven years and 95K Miles later it's still like new.

So its not the $200 a month student loan that is stopping them its the price of homes? I remember getting out of college in the real estate bubble in the early 2000s and not being able to afford to buy. What a blessing that was when I waited and bought a house for half once the bubble burst.

Not that there's anything wrong with that, but this is @dmchicago we're talking about here.

I always pee sitting down at home. Unless it's off the front porch. Then I do a handstand.

If I am coming out while someone is coming in, or waiting, I like to freak them out by saying “...  all set. And enjoy. I warmed up the seat forya.”
