    Just got back from the COVIDentist.  Place was deserted, about 8 chairs in the place and I was the only patient when I got there, just one lady in the waiting room when I left.  Apparently a lot of folks were staying away voluntarily, as there are currently no restrictions on dentistry here.  
    Glad to see Maine is doing well, @fishlessman.

    this is in massachusetts, they were in the 3 spot back late march when ny was leading the pack.  dentist for me is next wednesday, i have to check in monday and friday with them as well for the wednesday appointment, every room there has its own air filtration system. i was hesitant to go there but they sent out the new guidelines that they are following.  when you call they tell you when to enter the waiting room as it has to be empty and sanitized, no chairs, no magazines etc, all papeperwork and billing up front, the into the room, then leave out the back door. they also installed uv sanitizers.  maine is still clinking glasses of bourbon

    no bars in mass unless they convert to a licensed restaurant at 25 percent capacity for distancing and most of those are reservation only and mostly empty. local bars will remain shut til there is a vaccine or they find a way to address it better

    Covidentist just called to reschedule my teeth cleaning this morning. The tooth scraper lady will be on vacation.

    the captains make 134,000 more than the chief. the chief barely gets over 300,000 ;)  none of those guys got pink slips. they should have laid off atleast 2 captains and retained a dozen patrol guys, but then the captains would just retire at 80 percent take home pay and probably still get the detail work for road construction at double pay so they can get the free gas in their personal car and get paid for using the car as well. this town is really messed up

    What town are we talking about here? I don't understand why the citizens tolerate that sort of salary for those positions.
