Congratulations to your wife and family! My mom went through this in the late ‘90’s, I was roughly in middle school and never fully understood how much this impacted my dad until 20 years later when he got to talking about it. Awesome cook and appreciate the gesture to those who supported you. This brings back a flood of memories from the late 90’s and it’s about all the people. Thanks for sharing this.

Amazing post and the food looks great too. So happy for your family and what a wonderful
group of friends you have as well. After a day of watching the world burn this post is just what I needed. Can’t wait to see that kitchen in person.Keepin' It Weird in The ATX FBTX -

So good to hear about the big WIN.
I think you made all of us feel better!Thank you,DarianGalveston Texas -
Thank all of you for the kind words. This journey has taught me a great deal about the value of genuine relationships with PEOPLE. How much money you have or the toys you have matter little.I really appreciate the support from this community. Something I have learned is that EVERYBODY has something going on in their lives. Someone has - or a loved one has - cancer or some other problem. It doesn’t have to be limited to health. The important take away is that a little kindness and a little tolerance shown to those around you is never wrong. We all have the chance to be a bright point in someone else’s day. The saying, “In a world where you can be anything - be kind” has gained genuine meaning for me these past months. So - cheers y’all. Stay safe from COVID-19. Cook some good food. Hug those close to you and have a great day.Coleman, Texas

What a great story. Thanks for posting that! Congrats to you and your lovely wife! My wife too is a breast cancer survivor. Double Mastectomy and 13 mos of chemo, which was a big slice of physical and emotional hell. We too had a ton of support from friends and neighbors and had a cul-de-sac party for all of them when she completed chemo, so it was nice to hear your story and know that other people have great friends and neighbors to celebrate. Blessings to you both...

Great story! Thanks for sharing as cancer touches everyone's life whether directly or indirectly. My mother-in-law has surgery and begins her treatment Friday.
