    Ron,
I will vouch for you as a neighbor. Site 76 reserved. Hope I don’t have to move out of the neighborhood as soon in 2020. B)
I am surprised they are letting you back in the park at all @Sand@SandyHookEgger
But I am glad they are....
I've got friends in low places. Can't wait to see them again.

I've never been to one of these things.  Is it open to the public or do you need to buy tickets or what?  I'm not far away and would love to check it out!

The tickets tend to be extremely expensive and hard to come by.

Then I guess our family won't be able to go.  Thanks for letting me know.  Maybe next year.

Sorry - it was a joke.  We’ve had tickets to this in the past, but they’ve always been free.  We’ve only used them to give us a good estimate on attendance and whatnot.

Like I said in the OP, this is just a save the date post.  We’ll have a longer one up later with all of the gory details.

No need to apologize, and it really wasn't a stupid question at all.  If you want some idea of what this has looked like in the past, check out last year's thread:

Will there be any KJs there?  I’m thinking about doing a live periscope thing.

The company that decides it's a good idea to sponsor a fest called "Butt Blast" is probably going to sell personal lubes and products with names like "Swell Guy".

Funny guy.  So glad you're coming.

As it turns out we do not discriminate when it comes to the use of cooking devices at this.  It's not a BGE-sanctioned fest so there aren't any restrictions like that.  We generally have people cooking on BGEs, Blackstones, all kinds of smokers.  There have probably been a few KJs over the years too.

    Don't forget thievding.
@johnnyp Trimborn texted me this week and told me we’d set a date. Looks like this year it sits between my wife’s birthday and daughter’s birthday weekends so a much better chance of my attendance!

These gatherings look like a blast.. pun intended. I’ll have to continue living vicariously through the posts/pictures though.

Indeed, maybe next year. If I start pedaling in February I might be able to make it.

Definitely not going to try and hold any events called “Butt Blast” out here in California.  :o

We spent a couple of days in NC after BB19, the highlights of which were a pleasant stay in a cabin in Uwharrie National Forest, sort of saving a diabetic's life in a family restaurant near Seagrove ( I don't think I shared the details earlier), and a visit to a children's park with a miniature railroad, where caliprince had an awesome time.

Anyways, I was wearing my BB19 tshirt at the park, and an elderly gentleman came up and asked me if my tshirt meant what he thought it meant. I grinned and asked him that it depended on what he thought it meant.

He mumbled and sort of slunk away. I didn't even get to the parts about the petting zoo, Kentucky fans, etc. ...
This was well after you and Carey finished off my good bourbon.

You were otherwise alone in a camper. If it weren’t for us, you’d be going blind, with your palms getting hairier by the second.
