I wanted to jot this down before I forgot.
Last year, a donation was made to a local group. It would be fitting if that could be done in Brent's name this year, and years going forward. The powers-that-BB20 may have already considered this, in which case please add my support to the notion.
Pretty sure that Brent's smile would be even bigger than usual.#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX. -

I was planning a dry run Thursday for my BB2020 cooks. Invited a few neighbors down for feedback, then looked at the forecast. 3 - 5 inches of rain. Deja vu? My wife told me this evening "that ain't happening"......again! We postponed. I'm shooting for Friday.
Be careful when following the masses. Sometimes the M is silent.

Will they be shirts again this year. Since I won't be in attendance, I'd like to be sporting a BB2020 shirt while slinging meat with @BUFFALOMOOSE in Tampa that Friday/Saturday

We are working on the design....and we have yet come to a final selection.
Will post when we get the design finalized.
A huge time sink....sorry for the delay."Knowledge is Good" - Emil Faber

The weather was somewhat better today and we did our "dry" run for BB2020.
The things I tried were cherry tomato pepper poppers (stuffed with sweet Italian sausage ) Some with just goat cheese. Stuffed and grilled calamari, which turned out better that I thought. Finished off the appetizers with green lighting shrimp.
I did smoke a rack of pork ribs and a few beef short ribs just cause I have a chili cookoff at church next Sunday and can use the edge. Here are the pics in no certain order.

Looks yummy @bucky925. What did you stuff the calamari with?--------------------------------------------------
Burning lump in Downingtown, PA or diesel in Cape May, NJ.
....just look for the smoke!

Likewise, hoping to not be the only Armenian there
It's a very diverse group of white guys, don't worry.
I used to be able to name every nut that there was.
