Most of the short careers listed above were certainly impacted by the lack of a cohesive offensive line.

Most of those guys got killed every Sunday for the duration of their career.

Maybe he just couldn’t read defensive schemes fast enough?  After Jim Harbaugh stopped coaching him, he crapped out.  If he could help a NFL team in a significant way (not as a back-up) to make it worth their while, he would play.  IMHO.

I know this has little to do with football, but what exactly are "country green beans"? To me, they are green beans cooked so long that they no longer have any nutritional value, but that is offset by the awesome taste... you know, like my mom used to cook! Beans in some water with bacon grease and some salt, cooked forever. And Mom was definitely "country".

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

Country style, southern, green beans with potatoes and onion. I cook them until the potatoes are fork tender. Potatoes absorb the flavor of the pork and spices.

    This almost exactly:

Thanks. I think the main difference is, Mom never cooked potatoes with the beans. But it does sound good!

Been cooking on the egg since 7:30 this morning. I am done. I made a blue cheese sriracha sauce for dipping. 400°F raised indirect 1 hour, turned every 15 minutes, for a crispy deep fried flavor.

Maybe Kap to the Colts. I don’t buy into the fact that he was cut because he knelt. He was cut because he sucked. He had 2 phenomenal years, his kneeling was just the icing on the cake and what the media chose to sensationalize. He better bring some mad skills to the table if he gets a tryout

Green beans are my favorite veggie to cook, as you can't do them wrong; they're great raw, lightly sauteed, lightly smoked, vigorously grilled, roasted, boiled, boiled to death, microwaved, etc.  They're always good to eat afterwards.
Oh, and I also like the source fresh, frozen, or even canned; very few veggies I will say that about.

Vick was a much better quaterback. Even after getting out of the pen. The NFL is full of wife beaters, druggies, and killers. If the player is good enough a team will take a chance on them. Kap just isn't that good.

Let's assume there are 64 QB's in the league. Probably more, but 2 per team for this discussion.

Do you really think Kap isn't better that at least 1 or those 64?

Maybe. But not by any significant margin. The headache is not worth the investment right now. The up-side is not enough to make it worth the risk. He was exposed the last couple seasons of his career. Better to invest in someone with more upside or less baggage.
