    I've sometimes had trouble lighting the lump, with that much tailings in the Egg, FWIW.  No airflow.

    It was actually pretty funny watching these guys drive down the road.

    Light the top, leave the lid open and that crap burns up first. Close lid, fire dives down and voila, air.

    I've noticed lots of people like to just open it up to look, and its kind of awkward to have to explain, "Uh, you just added 15 minutes to the cooking time"....  :|

    @JohnInCarolina - hopefully in addition to the brisket you grabbed some of their jalapeno cheese grits. 
    Gotta hit Valentina's and you are soooo close to Franklin's but I'm sure the line is crazy on the weekend.
    Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.
