If a label on a container reads “refrigerate after opening” - do you put it in the refrigerator after you open it?

    Refrigerate.  I figure the producer added that print for a reason, although I suppose that reason could be a giant conspiracy between the agro-industrial complex and the appliance manufacturers to get us all to buy larger refrigerators.

    I suspect they just want easy access so that it is visible and that you consume it correspondingly. The only items that spoil in my fridge are the ones I can’t see upon opening the ice box.

    The last few times I have cut myself in the kitchen and having to struggle to get the PITA bandaid unwrapped I went searching for an easy to use bandage.

    Be sure to check the expiration date* of the Wound Seal stuff on your shelf or med kit.

    I do not with hot sauces.  Most don’t say to refrigerate after opening but I have had some that do and I ignore it.  Refrigerating hot sauce weakens it IMO.  

    Example, this habanero sauce says to refrigerate but nope.
