Just bought one. Been waiting since the last time it went on sale.

So now I have to figure out how to use this thing. I am definitely not a knife aficionado so bear with me. I see that it's adjustable from 15 to 30 degrees. How do you know what degree the knife should be sharpened to?

I see $129 again now too. I missed it last time by a couple hours. I set up an alert on camel camel camels website and they emailed me as soon as it went on sale today. May want to look into that in case it goes on sale again.

It will come with a Quick Guide for the Angle -Visalia, Ca @lkapigian -
What I've noticed is that the Japanese style knives are in the 15-17 degree range, the Western style knives are in the 17-20 degree range and then pocket knives, field knives and all that are above the 20 degree mark... but that's just my observation.Lowcountrygamecock said:So now I have to figure out how to use this thing. Regardless of angle, the KO should make the edge very clean, if executed properly.Kansas City: Too Much City for One State - Missouri side

I think I just sharpened everything I have on the KO WS set @ 20 Which ( I believe) is 40 degrees overall I could be wrong BUT I think the KO is degrees per side not total angle ? I think @The Cen-Tex Smoker has this downvb4677 said:

I don't the people that hardly post flagging postsAs has been explained by others - it is probably just a wayward thumb on the phone and it registered disagree even tho agree is what they meant to hit.Or maybe they did actually disagree. Dunno. Either way I wouldn't take it personally as I don't really think it's a case of "he who dies with the most "likes/agrees wins".

Mine came in yesterday. I sharpened two knives so far. What I ended up with is a knife that’s sharper on one side than the other. I’m still getting a feel for it.

Sorry if I somehow hit the wrong button, I bought the KO based on an earlier discussion and enjoy it.
