I’m not going to be able to do any cooking on the BGE this weekend since we’re headed out of town (to Myrtle) for a couple of days. So I thought I’d try to live vicariously through all y’all. What’s everyone cooking tonight or this weekend?

I have a pot of chili simmering on the stove now and picked up some things while at the store to make ABT’s tomorrow. It’s actually nice and chilly and going to rain here in So Cal so will probably grill some dogs tomorrow to go with chili and the poppers.

I don't know just yet. It depends on what is on special over at Rouse's. I know that they have pork tenderloin for $2.99 . I guess that I'll see in a couple of hours.

I always thought you were shackle-free, as I don’t recall you referencing “SWMBO” until only recently. Either I’m not as observant as I thought or someone’s had a very wild weekend in Vegas.nolaegghead said:Ropa vieja courtesy SWMBO. Beans have been soaking all day. -

We have an Asian market not too far away. I've only been in there once for a few minutes for sushi rice. I'm looking forward to see what they have available. I've read oxtail can be like $12-$15/lb depending on your location. Fingers crossed they have something I can put together.Cornholio said:
