Shrimp Tacos

I made sure to really dry the shrimp well, then lightly tossed with olive oil, salt and pepper. Grilled over high heat. Turned out really well.

Looks fantastic! I'll bet the avocados added a lot... I know they did on the Texas chili I just posted about! The shrimp were the stars of the show, but I'll bet the avocados were great in support!
I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

A local ma and pa place I frequent serves a similar dish with a side of a chipotle sauce of some sort. I need to extract the secrets from them. -

@Canugghead no I didn't make the tortillas, here in Austin HEB makes them fresh in-store and they are good, I just toast them on the Egg. I have made them before for special occassions...its a lot of work but fun.

I was watching some YouTube videos on making tortillas. The ones I saw, they were using a tortilla press for corn and a rolling pin for flour tortillas. Is there a reason for that or is it just their preference?
I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!
