If you look at the big pharma research companies, they are HQ'd in many different countries. They all have research labs all over the world. In fact, Roche and Sanofi, number 2 and 3 in size, are Swiss and French, respectively.DMW said:

I'm seriously thinking of retiring in the Puglia region of Italy. YOU can retire there very cheaply and according to WHO Italy has the #2 healthcare system in the world.
Now if I could just figure out how to get my MiniMax into carry on luggage I would be gone.
May have to speed things up a little if that idiot socialist mayor of Tallahassee becomes our next governor.Marshall in Beautiful Fruit Cove, FL.

Interesting that Dwayne admits to not being an expert... then Nola shows us that Nola doesn't know chit either, but can certainly cut and paste a bunch of BS.

May have to speed things up a little if that idiot socialist mayor of Tallahassee becomes our next governor. If you don't like socialists, I'd steer clear of Italy. Also, public services vary widely dependent on the wealth of the area and the level of corruption. The average for healthcare may be good, but it will vary region to region. The further South you go in Italy, the poorer it gets and the higher the level of corruption.Great food, great weather, lovely place, nice people etc. etc. I love Italy and deal with several Italian companies, but living there would not be without it's complications. -

Always enjoy the elites (or those who think they are) describing the rest of us as ignorant ****. Ironically, kind of how Trump got to where he did. If they were as smart as they thought they were, maybe they'd have figured that out by now.
But alas......:)

Always entertaining to see people think that Trump is anti establishment / anti elite. He might be unconventional, but he is very much part of the establishment / elite.KennyLee said:Always enjoy the elites (or those who think they are) describing the rest of us as ignorant ****. If that's so, then why do the establishment of both parties hate him so much? That includes the Clintons, Bushes, and just about any other establishment, elitist, gravy-sucking stick-it-to-the-middle-class tool there is.
Unconventional, yes. Sadly lifting the middle class has become "conventional" in the last 30 years. And that's the main reason he got elected.
