We got home late this afternoon only to find the front door busted open! backed away and called the Police just in case the perp was still in the house. The Police arrived and checked things out and said the only part of the house that looks out of place was the kitchen and asked us to come in and see if anything was missing. Well our recipe for this years wings was GONE! the wings we had ready and frozen were no longer in the freezer and the spices that were next to the recipe card were GONE! A note that read Looser on the counter and an empty Bush Beer Can.

We are still coming and going to win, nice try but it won't work.

Just so you know....the chicken wing jesus has just finished his sauce.

Which store did you buy it from Ron?  Give it up.
It may be storebought but he's going to add some bourbon to it so that makes it an original recipe.
You talk a lot of smack for someone whose forum pic is a swollen vagina.
That's awesome.  In an effort to talk smack about a chicken wing cooking contest, you reveal that you don't recognize a trophy that was earned by winning a chicken wing cooking contest..

I don't even have to trashtalk to win the trashtalking contest.  You're doing it for me.
Funny, I was googling “chicken wing trophies” a month or so ago, and ran across your trophy for sale. Something like $100. Yeah I didn’t pay $100 for our trophy. You should bring your a$$ to carolina next year. You’ll fit right in.
    It continues.

You guys really need to work on your trashtalkiing game.  It's not supposed to be self-deprecating.

Thanks for helping me out by providing more evidence that the Salado contest was the big time compared to "wing ding".

When you guys get together - do you do air quotes every time you say the phrase "wing ding"?

    When’s the next Salado competition?

Now that’s a real trophy.  None of this “looks like lady parts” business.

Is there really a town called Salado? If so, do they have enough people to have a chicken wing contest?
I think that was a two horse race, if it actually happened, likely you against someone warming up some Buffalo Wild Wing leftovers, in a used easy bake oven.
If I had known there was a town named Salty, and they had a wing contest, I would have drove down there, dominate, and win the swollen vagina trophy.
I would use that thing to stir my coals with at the real wing championship, the WD3, in Aiken.

I know it’s late in the game, but if anyone feels like they need some help, or had their recipe stolen, or whatever, this looks super promising.  I haven’t read it yet, but the picture is nice.

Please go and get yourself a hobby or something.  I hear macrame is all the rage these days amongst the geriatrics.

You never know where a winning strategy can come from, that skewer idea may work well on the collection of MMs that will be used at this cook-off (is it a cook-off or do you call it a 'ding' ?)

Some do some deep-dive research on the internet, some use their current favorite recipe, some buy a bottle of something and doctor it a bit (or not), some roll up their sleeves and do some real R&D in the kitchen to develop something that is unique and very much their own.

And then there are those that just straight up copy somebody else's post from the forum and talk up the 'walk in the park' this competition will be.  My hat is off to those that can muster that kind of bravado, riding on the shoulders of giants.

Trash-talking a 52 year old about age on this forum, now that's funny.

I took a look at the skewer idea and I like it but would not work on the MM for the WING DING! yes WING DING! as this year we need to have 20 wings to be judged by the 18 to 20 judges. Kay and I are a real threat because our house was broken into yesterday and the only things stolen were Wing Ding related!!! No big deal as we went to Piglywigly  today and got all of the items stolen yesterday and we leave in the AM heading south to the other Carolina to pick up our Trophy..... We even got some extra Piglywigly Bags for our luggage. I will try to get some pictures of the losers up here as soon as I can Saturday.

I'm an Ohioan transplanted to FL AKA (Floridiot) then migrated to NC so I'm not so good at the Piglywigly stuff yet! But my Chicken Wings are the best...…..

@DoubleEgger  let me dig through my Army videos and see if I can find this....I had a Soldier who was a bag boy at Piggly Wiggly as a teenager. One day my PSG and I smoked him while making him sing the "Piggle Wiggle, Shop the Pig!" jingle.  I made it my ringtone. HYSTERICAL!

Now that's pretty funny.  I (Nichole) could desolate each and every one of you bloated chicken wing trophy mongers without so much as a sneeze.  Lucky for you, we are opening my new office.  You rednecks (Ron wins that honor!) have fun in Aiken at Jeremiah's moss beer palace and have a great time.  Robin is a liar just to be clear.

So what you're saying is the one day a week you work falls on the day of the Wing Ding?

    Bad luck for you.

Good luck for all others involved.
