How many wings should I plan on cooking at this?  I want to have one for everyone competing, plus seconds and thirds for when people return for more of the winning recipe.
To my best fingering, there should be 18 voters. You should probably figure at least half of those will be too burnt to vote on...

Unless he’s cleaned it up, your neighbors may think there’s a dumpster fire at the pool when he lights his egg.

Ok you scoundrel's after much thought, figuring, pondering and debating we have come up with something new and will be taking home the Trophy again this year! So game on...…. Did you really think we would sit this out?????????

All of this after Dad decided to wreck his car today and we lost a whole day of prep for the journey, Dad and Mom are ok with no injuries other than a few bumps. The car is even fixable.

Rest assured we will be there Friday ready to rock and roll.

Ron it's very serious until the winner is crowned and then the drankin gets going but until then very serious. Just keep a eye on your egg while cooking your wings.

I got no chance. I drink before the event. During the event, after the event.
I yield the plate. I will be able to eat some great wings though.....and drink amongst friends. That is winning in my book.
Does that appear too millennial? I can't believe I just typed that shid.

Is this thing still a few weeks away?  it must be, the trash talking hasn't gotten any better at all.

    "I'm going to win"

    "No, I'm going to win"

"Oh yeah?  Well I'm win again because you don't make good wings and the wings I make are good"

Maybe there should be a second trophy for best trash talking.  The rest of us non-wing tasting spectators can judge.  I'll send a bottle of clumpy Texas rub or something to the winner.  Most likes on a single post in this thread by game time takes it.

    Go.
