How do you describe the guy who accuses folks of taking their ball and running home to momma, only to declare "I'm out" several posts later? Asking for a friend...

I'd never heard of Duke's Mayo before the forum. After way too much reading and consideration, I tried it and now it's my go to, both in and on things. Others in my fam like it ok, but prefer the taste and security of their ol' tried and true [Hellman's (light)]. That's ok with me -- it's often said that there's no accounting for taste. We've got room in the fridge for both, along with way, way too many mustards that I keep bringing home.
Maybe I'll call this "The Duke's Corollary": keep an open mind, listen to others' opinions, try new things, and judge not others' preferences. But, as long as there's popcorn and I've got the time, Imma keep coming back to threads like this to see what drama is getting stirred up. Might even try Heinz Mayo, assuming someone whose taste I trust gives it an appropriate endorsement. It's a 302 thing . . . -
I like homemade mayo as a dip for roasted vegetables or turned into Aoili etc, but I'm not putting that shiit on a burger though. There's no need - it just gets lost in the mix.South of Nashville - BGE XL - Alfresco 42" ALXE - Alfresco Versa Burner - Sunbeam Microwave

There’s really nothing wrong with parchment paper. Or maybe folks who use it are actually pansies. It’s one of those. I may be drunk on all of the fruitcake being demolished.nolaegghead said:

I bought a jar of Dukes for the first time in a decade... tastes identical to Hellman's if you added a dash of white vinegar. Not bad. Will stick with whatever's cheaper.South of Nashville - BGE XL - Alfresco 42" ALXE - Alfresco Versa Burner - Sunbeam Microwave
