    @CTMike I've not had the 23.  I've been nursing this bottle of 20 for awhile now.  It's so f'n good that I will be depressed when it's gone.

    I have owned all thru the 20 but never the 23 and I do believe the closer to the source, the more challenging to find (and that's any of 'em).  I'm not a big fan of the wheat component of the mash bill so I'm a realist and good when the remainder of the Van Winkle line passes my by.
    Still have a 12 year old hanging around to crack with the right occasion.  
    Edit:  I recall when I would gift the 10 and 12 year old Van Winkle but that was around 10-12 years ago.  Market and distribution driven for sure.  
    Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.

    I feel you on that. I brought a flask of it to my sons bachelor party and poured out 8 1 oz pours. One of his friends was so drunk that he pounded it like a shot of tequila. Wanted to kill him.

    Would it be a good idea to bring my Mini Max?  It could be used for sides, snacks, etc.  I also have a 22 inch Blackstone I can bring.  Let me know and I will pack both.

    @YEMTrey - no rocket scientist or professor here, but I would bring it-worst case, you don't use it; best case -cranking out great groceries.
