Yep . They had a pump on the porch. And a wood stove. They had a bath tub and to take a bath we heated a bucket of water on the wood stove and poured it into the tub. Then we went a pumped another bucket of cold water and mixed it in. When you were done with the bath you just pulled the plug and the water ran out the back of the house down the hill to the creek...Carolina Q said:
