Ended up with 12 quarts or so.  Anyway, that's what's for dinner.

Saw this on Instagram.  Great deal for the folks near jax.  I think @nphusker knows these folks.  They put on the NE Florida Eggfest.

We had open gym at church today 11a - 2p.  We feed them chicken nuggets and chips between games.  I would say it was a success for no more advertising than I did.  15 or so kids from the neighborhood.
In any case I recorded both games. UNC vs NCSU and dook vs UVA.  If you didn't care who won they were both great games!   If I heard it correctly it was the first time both teams lost on the same day since 1972?

Just heard the score on some obscure sports show, hardly anyone listens to, here in Louisville as I was running the channels on the radio. Nobody listens to Louisville Cardinals sports around here.
Sorry about your team. Sounds like they had a chance at home...

They did.  Tough loss for Duke at home but UVA has a great team this year.

My last few bags of Kamado Joe have been disappointing. The smoke profile has been good but the lump pieces are ridiculously big. I thought I maybe had a bunk bag last go around. Not so much. And yes, I have Rockwood in the shed.  ;)

  • Been playing with sous vide temps and finishing techniques. Did a strip tonight at 135* and finished with a torch. Glad I used the torch, would have been way overcooked any other way

Shout out to @The Cen-Tex Smoker
Had a great meal at North by Northwest. We enjoyed the beer suggestions as well.
    Tonight?  North or South?

I was there myself for dinner tonight, the north location.  Daughter lives right near there and the south one is only a mile or two from me.
We were at the south location. Small world. We need to PM our numbers. I’ll call you next time.
