Ummmm, I could have done the same thing in my oven and that is way too much salt for my low sodium diet.  Also, the rub just sounds extra clumpy.  No clumpy wings for this guy!

They look great! I think I will try that sauce with the Mole rub this week. Is the sauce very hot or more of a sweet with a little heat?

    Damn nice cook @DMW !!

Is that the smokewake grid or the one from the group buy a couple yrs ago?
@Mattman3969 - I'm pretty sure that is a steamer rack

Those wings look awesome.  Nice work.  Measuring is for amateurs.

Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

@dstearn -  the recipe as provided is not hot but you can dial it up (which I do).  Just wing it with the ratios til you get the heat and sweet you are looking for.

@Sea2Ski -  what's keepin' you from wings and something else for her?? ;)  At least you don't have to deal with degrees of heat/flavor when you are the sole consumer.

I will take absolutely NO credit for those.  All belongs to @DMW.  (But it a good baseline for a sauce... =)

No offense intended to those that choose to measure. I was just trying to make DMW feel better for being lazy like me.

My crappy wings beat @caliking. If these wings were around for the Salado wing cookoff I wouldn't have a wing trophy on my mantle.

No worries! My parents taught me the little of this a little that method growing up and that still my method!  Except for my rub recipe and pizza dough, I go by the book on those ;)

I don't  know for sure but that is about the best wing presentation I have seen posted on the forum. If not the best, it certainly is up there with the best. Good looking wings.
Again, another example of why alcohol inspires us to do great things.

Yes, this looks amazing.  Why are wings so tricky? It took me my fair share of wings to finally put something out that I was proud of, you got me craving now.  Haha

Wow, been busy and haven't had time to say thanks for all the compliments.

@Mattman3969 - That is a steamer rack as accurately observed by @SmokeyPitt.

@piney - Might be on to something there.

@pgprescott - The recipe for the sauce was provided by @lousubcap when I mentioned honey sriracha wings in a prior post. But these were wings I made.

PERFECT. You can't get better than that.

Tell me--what did you mean by "drizzling" the honey? Did you mean after they were cooked?
I didn't actually follow that part of the sauce recipe. I didn't drizzle any honey on them at all. Perhaps @lousubcap can let us know when this would be done if followed?

@Judy Mayberry -  I'm a non-drizzler after the first run I made.  And if you are gonna go that route it is after they are ready for consumption.  I do jack up the heat and found the extra honey too much for me.
BTW- This is no way an original creation. I just grab wing recipes and give them a test-run.  This one along with a sweet/hot mustard one are up there in my rotation.
